About the Journal
Every destination wedding guide here comes from a real wedding
Fotoclip Studio is a husband-and-wife wedding photography team based in Spain. We photograph destination weddings for international couples across Spain, Italy and France, and every destination wedding guide in this Journal grows out of days we have actually worked: the venues we know, the light we have watched change over a ceremony, the timelines that kept a day calm and the paperwork our couples had to sort out before flying.
The guides are written for couples planning from abroad — from the UK, the US, Australia, Asia and the rest of Europe — who want honest answers before they book. You will find no sponsored venues and no invented statistics; where we rely on official sources, such as the UK government guidance on getting married in Spain, we link to them directly.
How to use this destination wedding guide collection
Start with the chapter for your region — Barcelona and the coast, Andalusia or Italy — then read the planning guides on legal versus symbolic ceremonies, budgets and timelines. Each destination wedding guide is self-contained, and each one ends with the question that matters most to us: what will the day look like in photographs? New guides are added every few weeks, and older ones are updated whenever prices, rules or our own experience change.
